“On Tap” Review Excerpted from On The Aisle/77 Square

“…Edgewood opened The Stream, as well as its overall theater season, on Saturday, Sept. 22, with “The COR Stories,” a series of seven short pieces including theater, tap dance, poetry and a musical revue.

My favorite piece was easily Donna Peckett’s funny, irreverent “On Tap,” a mini-memoir about how tap dancing has changed her professional and creative life. Rhythm tap is “music” and “of many minds,” she said, as she interspersed history with anecdote and demonstrated how to “dance a feeling.”
